Morning Picks · the AI pre-open desk
Watch 300 stocks become a trade plan.
A gap read, a factor engine, a sector-rotation vote and a chain of language and vision models, run every weekday before the bell. Scroll to watch one morning.
Sample run: scores, sectors and trades are illustrative, not a recommendation. The counts, weights and caps are the ones the pipeline runs with.
01 · Gaps
07:00 ET. The overnight gaps, read first.
Before Morning Picks runs, the Gap Analyzer takes the 12 biggest large-cap moves of at least 0.75% and reads them together in one high-effort LLM call. Its default is to fade the move (long a gap down, short a gap up), and the model vetoes that where the news explains it. Calls at 60+ confidence, up to 10, are carried into the run.

Then Morning Picks runs on its own. It scores the S&P 500 Top 300 on 25 factors across 7 categories, percentile-ranked into one score from 0 to 100; a carried-in mover outside the list is scored in beside them. Swing mode shown; day-trade mode runs its own momentum preset the same morning.

03 · Flows
Where money moved, sector by sector.
Each of the 11 sector ETFs gets a flow score from 5 legs (5-day return, 10-day return, today's move, volume pulse, breadth) and past ±15 it reads as inflow or outflow. An LLM turns each session's read into sectors to favour and to avoid, and a sector leans only when at least 2 of the last 3 to 4 sessions agree. Today's read runs after the picks.

04 · Tilt
Tilted toward where money is moving.
The list is re-ranked by that vote: the tilt only reorders it (the score from 0 to 100 is never rewritten) and caps stop one hot sector from taking over. 70 survive.

05 · Read
Then every candidate gets read.
All 70 are analysed in parallel. A trade validator walks price, technicals and fundamentals to a confluence score and asks an LLM for a verdict and a confidence; another model summarises the news; each name gets its own fear/greed reading.

An LLM keeps up to 20.
A language model reads all 70 rows against the morning's regime and keeps up to 20 setups, ranked, favouring confluence: a strong score, a validator BUY, supportive news. It names its 15 closest misses with a reason each, so you can check what it passed on.

07 · Vision
A vision model reads each finalist's chart.
Each finalist's chart is rendered twice. A classical-pattern analyst reads the line chart, a candlestick analyst reads the candles, and both reads feed the write-up, the same chart tool the Trade Validator runs.

08 · Review
Checked as a book, not one name at a time.
Three passes run over the 20 finalists. A health check marks each one healthy, warning or critical. An opportunity ranker blends 4 sub-scores and adds a one-line LLM read on each. A portfolio-risk pass treats them as an equal-dollar book (correlation, beta, diversification, sector mix) and an LLM narrates it for the write-up.

Why Versatum
How is Versatum different from charting platforms and AI stock-rating services?
A charting platform gives you charts; an AI stock-rating service gives you a single AI score. Most retail platforms give you charts and screeners. Versatum gives you the research behind the trade, the checks before it and a paper account to rehearse it in, all explaining themselves.
One command center
Stop bouncing between charts, a terminal, a chatbot, your broker, and ten forum tabs.
Versatum’s 85 widgets and 6-stage Deep Research pipeline turn the entire trading stack into a transparent, replayable workflow: bull and bear researchers argue the thesis out, up to eight investor personas score the same name independently before a manager rolls them up, and three chart studies read the tape with no model in the loop at all.

Every trade argued both ways
A 13-role, 6-stage Deep Research pipeline whose bull and bear analysts argue every trade out before a research manager, a trader, a three-debater risk team and a final risk manager sign off.
ResearchChecked before you take it
A 16-stage Trade Validator weighting twelve dimensions against fourteen gating rules.
ValidateNot everything is a model
The eight-persona Investment Committee is deterministic rule code rather than a model, and three chart studies written line by line reach a reading with no model in the loop, so their readings reproduce exactly.
How the AI worksGrounded Copilot
Answers are grounded in the data of the page or widget on screen. Auto-triggers Deep Research mid-chat on Pro and Pro+ when a question warrants it, and an unmeasurable number is disclosed as such instead of rendered as zero.
CopilotFrom Signal to Paper Order
Unlike charting-only tools or single-score AI scanners, Versatum carries a signal through to practice: a Morning Picks card becomes a paper buy with a linked stop and target in one confirm step, and a watch tells you in the app when a level you care about is met.
Paper TradingOptions, built and ranked
An options strategy ranker that builds 20 constructions across 19 types with EV scoring and a Kelly fraction.
OptionsAgents trained on your tickers
An RL Training Lab that trains reinforcement-learning agents on your tickers.
RL Training LabFour Markets, One AI Stack
Stocks, forex, crypto: same multi-agent debate, vision chart-pattern AI; fear & greed and whale tracker on stocks and crypto. Asset-aware prompts: pip math for FX, halving cycles for crypto, DTE bands for options.

Who it’s for
Who is Versatum built for?
Versatum is built for active retail and prosumer traders (day, swing, and long-term) who want hedge-fund-style workflows without writing code or paying for a data terminal. It supports stocks, options, forex, and crypto. Four agentic pillars (the Autonomous Trader on simulated money, Agent Mode, Morning Picks and Watches) handle planning, simulated execution, alerting, and review.
Trading mode. One toggle (day · swing · long-term) rewires signals, thresholds, options DTE bands, factor weights, and Copilot prompts across the app. Same ticker, up to three different verdicts.

The AI
No black boxes.
Answers show the data behind the call, every feature says what kind of AI it is, and the parts that are rules rather than a model say so.

What is Versatum?
Research software for people who trade US stocks, options, crypto and forex on their own account. It reads the market before the open, researches a ticker with a team of AI analysts, checks a trade idea against a weighted scorecard with fixed guardrails, and lets you practice on paper. You make every call.
Every tool, listedWho is Versatum for?
Self-directed traders and investors who work on a known horizon: day trades, multi-day swings or long-term holdings. One switch sets that horizon, and the bar size, lookback, news window and the AI's brief follow it across the app. It suits people who want to read the reasoning before they act.
Trading stylesWhat runs before the market opens?
Three scans, every weekday: the Gap Analyzer at 07:00 ET, Morning Picks at 07:03 and a sector and industry rotation read at 07:06. Each run is stored once and shared with everyone who opens it. Morning Picks and the Gap Analyzer are prepared for Day and Swing trading, and Morning Picks is part of Pro and Pro+.
DiscoverHow does the AI show its reasoning?
Each tool writes out its working. Deep Research shows every analyst's report, two rounds of bull and bear debate and three risk voices before its final call. The Trade Validator lists its factor scores, names any guardrail that capped the verdict, and gives one to five reasons it could be wrong.
How the AI worksWhat happens when data is missing?
The app says so. A factor with no data never counts as zero: the Trade Validator usually leaves it out, and the Stock Picker and Morning Picks score it at the midpoint and lower their confidence. The Validator writes "[not in data]" where a number is missing, and PEG is withheld when fewer than three analysts cover a stock.
PrinciplesDoes Versatum place trades for me?
Only with virtual money. The Autonomous Trader, on Pro+, runs AI agents against a virtual book on our servers, with $10,000 of starting capital by default. Your paper accounts are simulated too.
Autonomous TraderWhat can I practice on paper?
Open as many paper accounts as you like, each starting at $100,000 unless you set another amount. Paper trading covers US stocks and ETFs with market, limit, stop and stop-limit orders. Options, crypto and forex are not available on paper.
Paper tradingDoes Versatum cover crypto and forex?
Yes. Crypto has its own page with 11 tabs, including a simpler validator of its own and whale activity inferred from trading volume. Forex covers 34 pairs, 7 majors, 16 minors and 11 exotics, with its own technicals and AI signals. The full Trade Validator is for stocks.
MarketsIs the market data real time?
Prices update by polling. The options tape checks every 5 seconds and the watchlist every 60 seconds while it is on screen. There is no streaming feed. Market data is included in every plan, with no keys or extra subscriptions to set up.
Market dataWill alerts reach my phone?
Watches alert inside the app only. There is no push notification, text or email. Up to five watches run at once, and they are checked while Versatum is open in a browser.
WatchesCan I use Versatum on a phone?
Yes, in the browser. Phones get a dashboard laid out for a small screen, and the Copilot opens as a sheet.
